關係詞 – 關係代名詞 & 關係副詞


為關係子句(形容詞子句)的連接詞 , 放在名詞後面
(名詞後面的句子,所使用的連接詞就是關係詞)

**關係代名詞 (who/whom/which/whose/that)

..N ( 關代 + 不完整句子 )
** 關代當 S / O / 所有格 用
1.The girl who has long hair is Mary.
2.The girl whose hair is long is Mary.
3.The man (whom) we met is my uncle.
4.The man (whom) we are waiting for is my uncle.
5.The book whose cover is green is mine.
6.The house (which) we live in belongs to my uncle.
** 除了whose之外, 其餘關代均可用that代替
**關代為受格時,可以被省略 (#3, 4, 6)

** 介係詞放在關係代名詞前面

常用: was born in.. 生於... / live in 住在 / sit on 坐在..上
........wait for 等待 / pay attention to 專注...
7.The chair on which we are sitting is my uncle.
...我們正在坐的椅子是我叔叔的
8.Is that the man for whom you are waiting?
...我們正在等的是那個男人嗎?
9.This is the house in which you live.
